The GC Abrasives 2" Quick-Change Surface Conditioning Disc Set with Backing Pad is designed as a complete solution for professional metal cleaning, blending, deburring and surface preparation.

The non-woven abrasive discs feature a three-dimensional open-web construction that combines flexible fibers with abrasive mineral. This structure provides controlled cutting action and conforms effectively to flat surfaces, edges, welds and complex contours.

Unlike conventional coated sanding discs intended primarily for stock removal, surface conditioning discs are particularly useful where the goal is to clean, blend and refine the workpiece while limiting excessive removal of the underlying material.

The compact 2" (50 mm) diameter provides excellent maneuverability in confined areas and on smaller components. Combined with the supplied quick-change backing pad, discs can be installed and replaced quickly without conventional adhesive attachment.

This makes the system particularly suitable for fabrication shops, automotive repair, welding, machinery maintenance and general industrial metalworking.
